Parlay math, explained

What does this free parlay generator do?

ParlayPull is a parlay builder for prediction markets: one pull returns a pre-built parlay with each leg's cost, win probability, and settlement time, plus the combined payout multiple, American odds, fee-adjusted expected value, and a Kelly Criterion stake. Odds are refreshed from live markets every 6 hours.

How are parlay payouts and odds calculated?

Every leg's cost already includes exchange fees. The payout multiple is 1 divided by the product of the leg costs, so an 8x parlay equals +700 in American odds. The combined win probability multiplies each leg's market-implied probability and assumes the legs are independent.

What are parlay expected value and the Kelly Criterion?

Expected value (EV) is the average profit or loss per $1 staked: win probability × payout − 1. The Kelly Criterion converts any real edge into a suggested fraction of bankroll to stake — it stays at 0% unless our sportsbook-devig model finds the market underpricing a leg, which is what the ★ EDGE FOUND badge marks.

Why is almost every parlay negative EV?

Prediction-market prices approximately equal probabilities, so a parlay of fairly-priced legs loses the fee on average at any payout target — the risk tier changes variance, not expected value. We show the negative number instead of hiding it; the rare positive-EV pull is real, not decoration.
